Welcome to the HHS PASS Blog!

Welcome to the blog for the HHS PASS Program! PASS stands for "Positive Action for Student Success." It is important for a society to have citizens who possess good character traits. The mission statement for Hoover City Schools reads: In a safe, caring atmosphere of teaching and learning, Hoover City Schools provide each student with opportunities to develop exemplary character and achieve personal excellence through a rigorous and relevant curriculum.

The purpose of the PASS program and this blog is to provide resources for students to work independently through the lessons as one part of character education. At the top of the page, you will see 6 tabs where each represents a different character trait/category. The categories are Respect, Honesty, Empathy, Citizenship, Digital Citizenship, and Resilience. By clicking on a tab, you will find lessons for each category.
